According to the new Census data, during the last decade, demographics have shifted tremendously and minorities are now the new majority in Charlotte-Mecklenburg. This session will provide an overview of the demographic changes, what they mean in terms of political power, and an overview of easy ways for the IRAI community to become more civically engaged and empowered to become active participants in this community’s decision-making processes.
