LAWA partners with the Blumenthal Center to invite you for a free Get to Know GIRLS ONLY comedy theater workshop. Experts will explore and explain comedy theater techniques including characterization, improvisation and pantomime employed by the cast of GIRLS ONLY: THE SECRET COMEDY OF WOMEN.
You will learn characterization methods using comical impersonations such as body/voice manipulation and improvise a skit using topics from the show.
One lucky person will win a pair of tickets to the original comedy that celebrates the honor, truth, humor and silliness of being a woman at the Stage Door Theater from May 7 - August 1, 2010.
