In it\'s 12th year, this is the largest two day conference in the region on aging and health issues. Nationally recognized speakers open each day and 28 workshops will be offered on a wide variety of topics. The Exhibit Hall will show case over 50 sponsors and the Resource Table will feature books from our speakers.
Keynote speakers include Dr. Christopher Edwards on \"Walk A Mile in My Shoes: Management of Dementia in Diverse Populations\", Dr. Cody Sipe on \"Person-Centered Wellness Programming\" and Dr. Al Condeluci on \"Beyond Difference\" and \"Cultural Awareness Panel: Increasing Your Diversity IQ\" .
Workshops will feature state and local speakers on such topics as \"Prepare to Care: Outreach to LGBT Elders\" to \"Aging Without Place: The Problem of Homelessness Among Older Adults\". Continuing education credits offered - contact Centralina for details.
