This workshop will empower emerging leaders and grassroots organizers in the immigrant community with the tools to educate their friends, family members, neighbors and co-workers while building strength, unity and solidarity in their communities. Topics covered will include knowing your rights, detention issues, NC legislative processes and lobbying. Lawyers will be present.
