Casting is now open for "Southern Blend: A Dating Experiment", a documentary video project and dialogue series supported by Crossroads Charlotte.
"Southern Blend" producer Rod Garvin says "the film will focus on a reality-style social experiment in which people will date outside their race or ethnicity for the first time, or step over racial and ethnic boundaries they have never crossed before in their dating life." The goal of the project is to entertain and educate as it explores interracial dating in Charlotte.
Candidates of diverse backgrounds are needed for the project and those selected will have a chance to date someone of another race or ethnicity. Casting interviews will be held on Saturday, June 25th. There are a limited number of audition slots, so interested singles are encouraged to inquire as soon as possible!
