  • Other Types of Diversity

    • Diversity can refer to more than just race or ethnicity. Other forms of Diversity may include Gender Identity, Sexual Orientation, Religious or Political Affiliations, and Age. Have any of these types of diversity affected Charlotte as a community? Have you personally been affected? As Charlotte becomes more diverse, is it possible to still maintain a sense of community and identity?

  • Non-Profits Taking A Hit

    • Non-profit organizations in our community provide valuable services and meet critical needs for thousands of people every day. In these touch economic times, many are being forced to cut back, even as needs have never been more urgent. What's your perspective? Should public money be used to help? What's the role of the private sector? Check out these articles from our partner The Charlotte Observer, for background information: 1. http://www.charlotteobserver.com/opinion/story/728822.html or 2. http://www.charlotteobserver.com/opinion/story/728822.html
