Communities in Schools' mission is to champion the connection of needed community resources with schools and other sites to help young people successfully learn, stay in school, and prepare for life.

The target of this initiative is to increase the number of relationships i.e. volunteers, mentors, tutors, partnerships in schools served by CIS. The purpose is to strengthen the community connection with the schools and work towards keeping kids in school.
