The Greater Carolinas Chapter of the American Red Cross is a non-profit humanitarian organization dedicated to helping people in Mecklenburg and Iredell counties prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies. The Greater Carolinas Chapter is the largest in the Carolinas - serving nearly 800,000 people with three service centers in Charlotte, Lake Norman area and Statesville.

We are helping prepare at-risk youth by giving them the knowledge to prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies through classes that teach them how to be safe when home alone; good hygiene; basic first aid and water safety.
