Without a change within each person, real change cannot be initiated with genuineness. Though the quote used in the film was attributed to Ghandi, there is nothing we can truly do to change ourselves without the power of God in our lives. Anything else is temporary human behavior which is subject to falter and fail in the midst of life's inevitable struggles. Looking to God. however, through all experiences: good, bad, great or worse is the ultimate source for hope which inspires change.

Actually I would tend to agree. I know religion (particularly Christianity and Islam) has gotten a bad rep in recent times due to a few very loud and judgmental zealots--but when you look at the basic tenets of what these belief systems offer, you see guidelines for bettering yourself as an individual and for living as part of a collective. Whatever the source of this inspiration--I've seen it make positive change. It's a shame the message has been distorted to push the agendas of various political groups over the course of human history.
