I thought the video had some good ideas, they just weren't portrayed clearly and effectively. It was too confusing to skip between the one story line and the other random ones. It should have focused around with the guy on the steps and the student listening to Gandhi speeches more than it did, to get the point across more effectively.

Although the jobs have increased I still find it very unfar that the reacial line is continuing to separate not only the job market but Charlotte as a city. I feel that we as Americans can better this city rather than having opportunites for the majority. Although I liked the increase in the minoriy in the school system, this means that there can possibly be a major change ahead. For if the... read more

In the very beginning, I think it shows that just being friendly or talking to someone can make someone's day. I believe this to be true. Being friendly doesn't hurt. Also in the end where the community comes together to help build the center together is very nice and all, but I haven't really seen anything like that come true at least before my eyes.

I haven't been in Charlotte long but on campus and where I have been off campus, I haven't really seen any significant barriers between races. I'm sure that they do exist but at least on campus they are not predominant. Didn't really like his movie, it was kinda corny, the acting was worse than the first movie, and some parts of it didn't make sense.

I think that racial barriers are being broken down more now so than ever. I do agree that Charlotte cannot become a crime free city over night; however, I think that we need to get in the mindset of we can change Charlotte. An individual might not be able to by themselves, but I think we could make it a better city. I also think that the point was that in order to become this new Charlotte, we... read more

A Positive Possible Scenario. While the connection between races could be seen between some characters, such as the men on the steps discussing quotes, the news anchor also reports a separation. While the job market and education system prospers, I still think the citizens need to feel a sense of connection and trust when it comes to those around them. Most people in this segment seem to be... read more

I agree with all the other people who have responded, this near perfect situation will never be reached anywhere. No matter how hard the community as a whole tries there will always be crime and poverty.

I also believe that this is unrealistic. As Charlotte being one of the top job markets in banks, schools are achieving greatly, and being in a great streak of growth, and just overall seeiming to be crime and problem free. although all these things might not be achieveable all at once, I also believe that anything is possible and that anything can happen. "Be the change you want to see in... read more

Our commonality are much more that our differences. Lets share our commonality as a way of reducing fear and mistrust among ourselves. This will create confidence to approach our differences.

This is way too unrealistic. Charlotte can't be without any problems. I think that this will never happen. I agree with the fact that you can have changes and changes start with individuals but changes can't be made so that Charlotte is like a Utopian city.
