Wow. If we all work together, everything will work out in the end. It would be nice if that were true but it's wishful thinking. And the Olympics? Probably not.

I feel it is great that there is someone trying to make a change in the community with the youth center. Also I feel the mother should let her son stay where he feel he is comfortable, also if he is learning well he is. Parents should be more involved in their child’s lives, therefore there will not be many secrets that is withheld, so the child won’t feel hurt that they have to keep it held... read more

I like how everyone got together to help with the center and all, but I haven't seen anything like that happen yet. Everyone seemed to be too happy in this video that it seems unreal to me. If only everyone could be happy or went the way this video did, the economy wouldn't be like this now.

I take back that the white woman is a @$%^! she righted her wrongs. It would be really nice for everything to be like in this video, but sadly I don't see this happening anytime soon. I liked this video, obviously it was more optimistic than the other ones, I don't know about the Olympics coming here but it was an interesting idea.

This scenario is my favorite! Everyone seems happy and Charlotte appears to be doing very well! I hope to see the city this well connected and prosperous in the near future! I was also happy to see the ugly mother from the beat goes on being kinder to the housekeeper

I think although getting to this point would be difficult and we would have to overcome a lot of obstacles and make a lot of changes, it is definitely possible. To me trust is crucial to a successful relationship. Similarly, in the community trust between different races and religions or any difference is of great importance for a successful community.

This scenerio would be great! More racial trust would be great. Like the pastor said in The Beat Goes On, if you can't trust your neighbor, then who can you trust? I wish Charlotte would be more like this in 2015. It would take a long time and effort to become like this, but anything is possible.

Hatred based on racism and hurt feeling has eat away the good intentions and bold effort that many Charlotte resident are trying to promote. People should note that human being should treat each other equally. I agree with Mr. Lewes that we better start talking to each other and more importantly listen to each other.

it would be great if Charlotte could overcome it's racial problems and in the future Charlotte would be just like this scenario.

I really identified with the character Sam. In the last vignette, Sam's story is fully told: "My mom doesn't know I'm gay." The new friend I met, Glenda, urged me to speak about our conversation after the film. I sometimes feel as though Charlotte's civic/government, social and religious leaders and institutions are kind of like Sam's mom; they don't know... read more
