Get Real 2011

From February 21 to March 11, 2011 Crossroads Charlotte led a successful large-scale community effort to give community guidance to local elected officials entitled "Get Real 2011: Real Talk About Values, Choices and Budgets in Charlotte-Mecklenburg." More than 700 individuals from 43 ZIP codes came together over 75 workshops to discuss community priorities and give guidance to city and county leaders on what they felt was most important for the future of Charlotte-Mecklenburg.

Get Real 2011 was non-partisan, non-profit and did not endorse or advocate for any viewpoint, policy, group, solution or answer…the point was to involve as many people as possible in voicing their views.

The FINAL REPORT is now available to download.
